Steven Bradbury
At the 1994 Winter Olympics, held in Norway, Steven was the pre-race favourite to win the 1000 Metre event. Unfortunately he was knocked down in the 1st round of the competition. The enormous disappointment he felt, had to be overcome quickly in order to pull himself together for the 5000 Metres team relay. Steven and his teammates went on to win Australia’s 1st ever Winter Olympic Medal by claiming bronze.

Steven collected the most unlikely, unthinkable gold medal in the history of the Olympics. Australia’s first Winter Olympic Gold medal! Steven tells an amazingly inspirational and entertaining story of triumph over adversity. Training, pain, setbacks, sacrifice and life threatening injuries for 12 years is more than luck. Learn how to apply the information and tools Steve developed to achieve your own amazing success.

Anne Carey
After leaving school at 14 and spending 6 years in the workforce, Anne joined a missionary order and studied nursing and midwifery before going to PNG where she ran a remote hospital in a poor rural district of PNG.

After 18 years in the order Anne left to work in health care in remote areas of Australia, interleaved with Red Cross Missions in war zones overseas, and completed her Masters in Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She was a member of the Red Cross team that stayed in Gereida, Sudan, the world’s largest refugee camp, and came under armed attack. All the other agencies, including the UN, abandoned the camp, though the subsequent focus of world attention on the plight of the refugees and the Red Cross workers prevented further attacks.

More recently, Anne became involved in the running of the Red Cross Ebola treatment centres in Sierra Leone. She was there at the height of the epidemic through to the recovery phase. She received the Pride of Australia Care and Compassion Award 2015 and is the 2016 Western Australia, Australian of the Year.
